Providing our community with a safe environment where the learning process can continue when the school day is over...

About Us

Our Mission

The mission of the Charles Street Community Center and After School Program is to provide a safe, empowering, and nurturing environment in the community where all residents have access to daycare facilities, kindergarten-12th grade academic help and support, recreational and artistic endeavors, as well as other services in a safe, friendly and productive setting.

The Charles Street After School Program (CSASP) is part of the Charles Street Community Center (CSCC).  Along with the CSASP the Community Center has been designated as a program provider to (PASA) Providence After School Alliance in the North End.  Together, our Community Center provides quality activities and assistance for every member of the community from children and youth through adults and senior citizens.

As a 501c3 Non-Profit organization, we are working towards a common goal in our community in which we provide our services to. Thank you so much to those donators who have donated office furniture and other tangible items. Right now our more immediate needs are both financial and volunteer assistance. Please contact us today if you are interested. Remember donations to a 501c3 organization are  tax deductible.
